COMMON BRIDAL QUESTIONS
I know planning a wedding can be a job of it’s own & we aren’t born knowing all the answers.
Let me help guide you through your process!
-
Although trials are not mandatory, they are highly recommended! This gives us a chance to meet, discuss your style, and try out your bridal vision.
They also help your wedding day flow smoothly while also helping alleviate stress the day of your event!
-
To ensure that your date is available, I recommend 3-6 months prior to your event date.
Trials are great to have for an upcoming event as well! Engagement shoot, bridal shower, etc. You’ll get a great idea of how the makeup wears throughout the day and how it photographs.
-
Absolutely! Travel on location requires a minimum of 4 full faces needing makeup.
Travel fees will vary.
-
Yes, when booking expect to put down a retainer and a signed contract to secure your date.
The retainer is non-refundable & not available to be transferred to another persons makeup service. $50 per person for any makeup event & is applied to your overall total on the day of your function.
Retainers are due no later than 2 months prior to your wedding date. Before payment is made, your day will be placed on a “soft hold”. If there is another party requesting the same date you will be contacted and given 24 hours to secure your desired date.
-
I have a list of questions that I like to go through to be able to give you the best answers possible.
Will you need me to travel to you? If so, where?
How many will be needing makeup services?
Is there a specific time we need to be done with everyone’s makeup by?
Are there limitations on our start/end time?
-
Taking care of your skin at home prepares your face, my canvas, for the most flawless application of makeup.
Gentle exfoliants like enzymes can be so helpful for flaky skin. Along with proper hydration, topically and internally.
Have a breakout? Don’t pick! I can cover just about anything, but I can’t hide texture as well as we can a pimple. Ice your breakouts, spot treat them with appropriate products, or reach out and we can set you up with an approach to best suit your needs.
I’m not a one trick pony.
I can have you looking like a glowing boho beach babe to a fully glammed out rock star. The inspiration photos you bring help us both understand one another the best and gets me to know who you are and what you like.
I will ask you to come in with clean, lightly moisturized skin, no SPF & those inspo pictures.
GENERAL MAKEUP QUESTIONS
-
Yes! You will want to have any facial waxing at least 3-4 days prior.
Makeup has a tendency of showing lines of demarcation where a wax has recently taken place if done too closely together.
-
Airbrush offers us the flexibility to achieve almost any look you are looking to have for your day. The airbrush finish photographs so beautifully and covers well and doesn’t feel heavy.
The makeup I use gives you a radiant & flawless look, offers 18 hour wear and is water resistant. You will be able to celebrate the night away, dance, sweat, cry and your makeup will stay secure. Only thing I ask, don’t touch your face!
The ONE thing you will likely need to touch up will be your lips. That’s it!
